'THE HORSES OF SAN MARCO'

'THE HORSES OF SAN MARCO' is a soft pastel illustration on cartridge visualizing two heads of the mythological horses of San Marco. The ancient and wondrous metal sculptures, originally standing in 4th century byzantine Constantinople, were looted and stood in the basilica of San Marco until Napoleon took them to Paris for a short stay after which they were returned to Venice. The drawing is now available as a LIMITED EDITION CANVAS PRINT embellished by hand; each copy is numbered and signed and complimentary poem included. No more than 100 copies of each size will ever be produced.
